Heifer Synchronisation

It is always difficult to observe heifers bulling when they are out at pasture or rented grazing.

We can recommend excellent synchronisation programs to help you increase your chances of serving all your heifers within a fixed time period. We have traditionally used two injections of Prostaglandin separated by a period eleven days to provide an opportunity to serve the heifers at a fixed time period. Newer synchronisation programs also enable fixed time services, and although they are more expensive than the double prostaglandin injection, they do offer greater conception rates (sometimes up to 90%). This can be of immense benefit in seasonal and year round calving herds and in herds using sexed semen. We offer these programs at competitive prices and as a fixed package.
